Twinkles_Wide.jpg

The Liebherr R984C or nick named "Twinkle Toes" was built in the United Kingdom in 2008 and in 2012 was purchased by Nikau and sea freighted in eight pieces to Lyttleton, New Zealand to restart her new life in the Southern Hemisphere.

Weighing in at a 220 tonne fully kitted with a telescopic high reach boom that has a maximum height of 65m (18 storeys ), this allows the versatility of extending or shortening the boom to work on smaller structures.

Twinkles has completed over 8 buildings in Christchurch due to the devastating earthquakes of 2011 before being transported to New Plymouth, where she is currently working on the Port Taranaki Power Station.

Twinkletoes is also equipped with a standard short arm, perfect for heavy lifting and earthworks. Recently it was equipped with a 14 tonne Mantovanibenne rotational multi-system with a 2.5m jaw opening - the largest in the world. Even with this combination it still weights in at 180 tonnes.
