JOHN STIL

DIANA STIL

HELINA STIL

Co-founding director of Nikau, John Stil is recognised as an industry leader, a visionary and a people’s person. An unfaltering attention to detail and commitment to finding a complete solution to a client’s problem are the hallmarks of this man. These are the very qualities that he looks for in his staff, be it at a very senior or junior level. John is also a founding member of the NZ Demolition Contractors Association, most recently renamed the New Zealand Demolition and Asbestos Association (NZDAA), and a full member of the Recycling Operators of NZ (RONZ).

As co-founder and co-director with her husband, Diana Stil is Managing Director of Nikau. Given her extensive practical and technical knowledge of the industry, the benefit of her ‘hands on’ involvement with the business is clear; ensuring that each and every project is planned and executed with the utmost precision and consideration for the broader impact of deconstruction activity. Diana’s notable capabilities and business acumen have been formally recognised: she was the recipient of the prestigious 2012 Next NZ Businesswoman of the Year award.

Helina Stil is yet another valuable cog in this incredibly focused family operation. Her role is to ensure Nikau’s on-site safety, environmental, and quality (aka sustainability) management procedures are followed to the letter. Her commitment to HSEQ in the workplace has seen her central to revolutionising industry standards and practices in both demolition and asbestos.
