The Education House redevelopment involves the significant deconstruction of an 8-storey structure located in the heart of New Plymouth. This prominent building, long considered an eyesore by the local community, underscores the importance of its removal for both aesthetic and practical reasons. Cut and Crane Deconstruction: Utilised Nikau's 250-ton mobile crane and advanced concrete cutting equipment to systematically dismantle the 8-story structure with precision and safety.

Steel Recycling: Successfully recycled over 1,000 tonnes of steel, enhancing sustainable waste management practices and supporting resource recovery efforts.

Internal Strip-Out: Conducted meticulous dismantling and removal of internal components within the commercial building, preparing the site for future development.

Concrete Crushing: Processed more than 2,000 cubic meters of concrete for reuse and recycling, contributing to the project's sustainability by reducing waste.

Demolition Heavy Machinery: Employed specialised heavy machinery to carry out efficient and safe demolition operations, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum effectiveness.
